When using a Gold Card system, my printing went haywire. Users' help
advised me about the chips involved. I tried another QL, transferring
the Gold card (needing to use the floppy disk ) ; still no joy. I put a
Trump card in the first QL and it seems to work OK. So I suspected the
Gold card, but why when the chips are on QL. The thread about Gold card
batteries led me to check the battery on mine, which is about 1.5
volts. Could this be the cause of the serial output failure?
