Indeed though there are a couple of projects kicking around on the net
that convert PS/2 mice to Atari/Amiga machines (mostly just a
microcontroler + a few descretes), so I might have a go with one of
these. I do have an ST too, so could try with it's mouse first.
Yes that makes good sense as the wiring is straight through.

Isn't is a pity that there is no overall authority for pinouts of standard devices such as these (and RS232!).
