I'm not so sure about this device, some people have had accidents with
those Segway (not sure of spelling) things, despite theoretically
being hard to fall off.
Interesting device nonetheless, and like many things like this, the
technology will find its way into something even more useful in the
end.

Well, thinking of the Asimov robot, there is a new exoskeleton which
can help paralysed people walk, go up stairs etc (was on the news
earlier this week, made in Israel I think). The solution for Norman
might be an Asimov he can sit inside, tell it where he wants to go,
then sleep while it walks him there ;-)
