All Ser-USB users,

Why this issue has not been reported before, or why it never came up in
testing is a complete mystery to me, but the MOUNT command in driver v1.03
is broken; it will hang if the Queue Manager is active. This is quite a
major problem if you're using standard QL serial hardware because . you
won't be able to use standard QL serial hardware!

Until v1.04 is ready for release, there is a patch to the MOUNT command
here:

You will need to LRESPR the file fix_mount_bin after the driver has been
loaded but before you issue the QM_GO command (or otherwise start the Queue
Manager) because QDOS does not allow resident procedures to be loaded when
there are any jobs running, and the Queue Manager is a job.

Apologies for this issue not being picked up before. All ROM users will get
a free upgrade when the next version of the driver comes out.
