I followed your link.
Why does the page have to look like it has faded in
the sun, I know my eyes are not what they were being on the
cusp of becoming an octogenarian.
Nor have I ever understood why your Wiki down beyond
adventures.

Why faded ? Not sure what you mean - that is someone's
design for the site - I like it - but if you have another
design you would prefer for the Wiki, then please feel free
to offer a suggestion (although you will need to skin the
site as I don't have time). I was just grateful that
someone was willing and had the time to propose a design
which looks nice.

The text is black on white, so it does not affect anything
or am I missing something?

As for "why your Wiki down beyond adventures" - not sure
what you mean here!
If you mean why it is hosted on www.rwapadventures.com -
that's simple - I don't want to have to pay for yet another
domain name.

I am fed up with people criticising the Wiki - all I ever
hear is back handed comments about 'but there is no
information about xxxx' or 'why don't you include this or
this'.....

Let's face it - the Wiki is supposed to be for the whole QL
community - ideally it would have its own domain (maybe
sinclairql.com or similar) and lots of people would be
adding and updating information on the Wiki

As it stands about 95% of the information has been added by
me, maybe 3% by Dilwyn and 2% by Urs Koenig

It would seem the QL community is not bothered about trying
to improve the amount of information about the QL on the
web.

People need to contribute - this was just a project I
started to try and address the critics of the QL, who say
openly on the web that there were no games, it was only a
business machine, and that it died in the 80s.

The point is simple - IF YOU WANT THE WIKI TO BE BETTER /
DIFFERENT / HOSTED SOMEWHERE, THEN CHANGE IT !!

And about 0.1% from me :p

I think it's a great site and a valuable resource too. Should be able to add in
the video links from youtube too :)

Peter.

Oops - yes sorry I overlooked your own valuable contribution

Video links can be added from Youtube - just have a look at: http://www.rwapadventures.com/ql_wiki/index.php?title=E.V.A&lang=en
You might recognise something on that page...
