Does anyone know if it is possible to have a transparent menu background
with a pointer environment menu?
I want part of the menu to be see-through and I can’t remember how to
achieve this, or if indeed it is possible at all.
Everything within a PE window must fit within the Outline.
When the menu is drawn it always has a paper colour and there is no code
for Transparent.
One way to mimic transparency could be to overlay the outline with an Info
Window.
This can be filled with an image, as demonstrated in QColour and QCoco.
For the image you can take that part of the screen where the menu is
supposed to appear.
Save that part in a psa area to immediately fill the the IW before
overlaying the menu items.
This should give the illusion of transparency.
