I've got the option of saving two used Epson EPL-5700 laser printers from
the scrap pile. They have a parallel port and > a centronics one but does
anyone know if they will be any use with a QL?

To help decide if it would work 'natively' with the QL, or whether you'd
need something like QPCprint...

contains the specs for this printer, it says it supports the following
printer control languages:
Standard: PCL5e, Epson GL/2
Option: EpsonScript Level 2 (Postscript® Level 2 Compatible)*1, IBM mode,
ESC/P2, FX*2One of *1, *2 can be supported
