.wiz files are produced by M-S Publisher.

There does not appear to be an official converter (covert or otherwise!)
which converts from doc. to wiz.

Perhaps you should market your copy Dilwyn?! ;-)

Best wishes with it,

Don't want to go into too much non-QL stuff here, but the '.wiz' problem when trying to download .doc files is due to a rogue registry entry on machines which were supplied with M$ Word Starter (many PCs are supplied with this) and later upgraded to Office 2010. If you have the time to read them there's loads of comments about it from about February on the various forums (fora?) out there.

It's harmless in the sense it causes no damage to the PC or website if it happens to you, just that you can't download .doc files from websites.

Must admit I panicked a bit about my website when this happened. With typical bad timing I thought it was a website issue, could find nothing about it, wrote an email and 5 minutes later found the supposed solution.

Haven't fixed it yet, although I have the theoretical registry changes needed when (a) I've backed up the registry and (b) I trust myself to edit the registry! (I suspect Norman might have a comment or three about me delving into the Windoze registry...!!!!)
