Nice! Even I don't had QPC1 and SMSQ/E 2.9x in mind while developing the QL/E BOOT program, I think all possible quirks (unsupported things like QLSSS) can be resolved by adding an additional IF here and there. Desktops can be switched off/on using the command QLE_CFG.
I tested QL/E under QPC2, SMSQmulator and on my QXL. Reports (of what you like or of what is not working) and Benchmark (TINDEX) results welcomed.
