I can confirm the problem!
Same here.
I have set the Files/Tree option to expand the file list, thus forcing the Files window to the max (1888x1012a6x54). There I also found the PARSER_TASK file that immediately locked my SMSQ/E, no keyboard or mouse response anymore, no Lock icon either, and Ctrl/Alt/Del was needed to drop QPC2 and get back to W$. As this is a binary file the View window was also filled to the last chr on the last line.
Yup. Crash within qpac 2, here also.
Another big but 80 columns txt file did not present a problem with an equally wide View window where only the left 1/4 was actually used. Strangely enough the size reported in Channels was 6x126a1876x45.(?) Could this be related to Urs's problem?
No. This is not a bug. The channel is resized to the size of the item over which the pointer currently is.
