Thank you for your work on this Norman. The installer works fine for me
(Windows 7 Home Premium).
I tested QxlWin on several qxl.win files from 4MB in size, up to 1GB (my
main one in daily use), no problems so far.
Minor suggestion for usability - would it be possible for a double click on
a folder name in the Files tab open that folder (like a click on the
triangle to the left) instead of complaining it can't view files of this
type? Actually, the folder does seem to open (or close of it was already
open) after the popup error window is closed, so maybe the error message
should be supressed if the double click was on a folder?

This is now fixed.
Files that have silly name sizes are ignored as they are obviously not
valid.
Files that have a name of exactly 36 characters are also now, dealt with
properly.
A new installer has been uploaded.
Cheers,
Norm.

Aye, I've tested that here and it seg faults.
The reason being there is a file or directory which has a name length
of 13,728 and another of 64,528. I was ure we only allowed 36
characters!
It's fine on all my own win files, so these failing ones are definitely
broken by the look of things.
I'll add a check for "silly" lengths and ignore them.
Cheers,
Norm.
