Afternoon all,

I have just uploaded the latest eMagazine for my somewhat irregular Assembly
Language series. You can get it at
https://github.com/NormanDunbar/QLAssemblyLanguageMagazine/releases/tag/Issue_14.
As always, you only need the PDF and the CODE.ZIP files. The source is no good
to you, unless you have a penchant for writing stuff with LaTeX!

A bumper issue this time!

* In the Beginner's Section we take a look at a couple of useful libraries to
handle strings and filenames. We then use them to create a routine to open a
data file using, if necessary, the default data directory.

* A tale of woe and despair as I look into a bug in DJToolkit's MOVE_MEM
procedure.

* Some advice on the use of the SD_EXTOP aka IOW.XTOP trap call to access the
Screen definition channel.

* How to ensure a value is constrained between a given minimum and maximum
value.

* Part two of the DBAS Database investigation. Navigation, Find and Continue
are discussed.

* A brand new, helpful, library to make DBAS programs easier to write. Example
usage is given with two filter programs to export and import any database.

Lots of pages to get through. Enjoy!

Cheers,
Norm.
