The live file system is so slow on my machine to be unusable. I wonder how many people try Linux in this way, and give it up as a bad job? Also, when working under windows in that way, configuring printer, soundcard etc seems more problematical than when installing into a native partition. I have used both SuSe 6.2 and Mandrake 7.2 in a native partition and found them both to fast and easy to set up. Mandrake 7.2 is the easier, but seems less stable though (occasionally crashes part-way through shutdown). Getting back on topic, most Linux distributions come with an emulators package. has anyone (Richard?) thought of interesting them in bundling UQLX and some QL apps?
