Hello Wolfgang, welcome to this list.

My website (address below) is a good starting point for QL matters -
it has a list of traders still supporting the QL, QL magazines and
user groups and a page devoted to links to websites with QL-related
material on it. Jochen Merz in Duisburg is your nearest QL dealer.

The magazine QL Today (published by Jochen Merz) has just carried an
article (first of a series) by me about expanding QL systems, you
might find that useful. The best expansion unit to get for a QL is
either a Gold Card or Super Gold Card, which both have a faster
processor chip, 2 or 4MB extra memory and disk interfaces built in.
These units are no longer being manufactured but there are quite a few
available second hand from time to time. The older Trump Card is also
a good starting point, since it is cheaper to buy and slower, but does
give you extra memory and disk drive interfaces.

There are also QL emulators available, which will run on computers
such as PCs, Apple Macs, Unix/Linux machines, Amiga, Atari ST and so
on.

Don't be afraid of asking questions and contributing to this list; we
are all here to help each other!
