Is that continuous rubbish, or only when you type a key?
Does pressing CAPSLOCK/SCROLL LOCK/NUM LOCK light up the relevant LED on
the keyboard.
If not then try another keyboard (Acer/Chicony/BTG or most cheap ones)
If you still get non-working then it might be the keyboard lead - check
for continuity. If that is OK, then I will need to look at sH.
