we aren't exactly an MS fanclub here. Otoh Nobody will bother
to comment the quality of MS products as long as they don't
send viruses, html mail or winmail.dat's into this forum.
As of security, MS stuff will be always hackers target nr 1 as
long as it is so widespread.
A recent issue of the German c't magazine had a test of virus
building toolkits, guess what - none of those targeted pine, mutt
kmail, elm, sylpheed or netscape mail. Some of this toolkits enable
even people who can't tell the difference between a toaster and
a computer to create nice viruses. Only a fraction of available
up-to-date scanners was able to detect all of the created virii.
Good Luck.
