The FTYP (TK2) command should return zero for text files, data files,
S*Basic files, QSAVED files etc.
One is the value for executables, and two is for SROFF modules which are
used by the linker to assemble an executable file. 255 is for a Directory
Driver 2 (sub-)  directory. I think THORs used type 3 as a sub directory
type.

Unfortunately, there isn't really a way to tell if a file is *really* an
executable or not because some assemblers create a typw one (ie executable)
for all output files from said assembler. This means that QPAC2's files
menu, which allows the EXECUTE option on type one files, also allows it on
files which are simply S*Basic extensions, or callable code etc.

I've fallen over this hurdle before :o(
