I would prefer detailed investigation before I become responsible for specs.
Currently no time left for that.

If a hardware can be used or not, will be a software issue in most cases
(SMSQ/E? QDOS Classic? Linux? Version?), so it is not just saying works /
doesn't work.

Yes. Behaves like IDE harddisk. Hence no new drivers.
