I could easily add the TOP command to my POP3 program giving
it the ability to download just the headers so you could check for
funny attachments and spam spreading from: addresses.
Anybody who wants it let me know.
There has been little or no response from to my QL-Today
offer to send out the SLIP version of soql by post. Pretty well
all the feedback has come from QLers who are already online
with P.C. etc. The comfort level of the soql mail applications
is not sufficient to tempt them away for more than a the odd
test mail.
I am still working on PPP and I hope the prospect of free ISP
access will tempt people to use it when I release it. There is
significant progress but nothing to show yet.
