No. In short, there are two reasons I know of:

- An anti-virus software running in the background.
  Solution: disable the software
- A totally screwed Windows version.
  Solution: Sorry, I just don't know any. Except reinstalling.

You could try to download Hex Workshop from www.bpsoft.com
(Shareware). Install it and try to access a floppy through the
"Disc/Open drive" menu. This uses a mechanism very similar to QPC's.
If that doesn't work your problem is definitely not QPC's fault and
there's little what I can do. If it does work there is a /chance/ that
it's QPC's fault and we can perhaps find a solution.

I'm afraid that's all I can do for now, due to University and the
exams I don't have the time for more. I know that many people are
waiting for answers from me (including you), but I just cannot do it
at the moment. There are still more than 100 mails in my inbox and I
will eventually answer them, but just not right now.
