>>too. Once after a trip to Holland with a bus load of us he used the >>magazine to compliment the then chairman and bus driver, Phil Borman, on his >>driving with the phrase "No kerb untouched".
I was on that trip myself, and some of the "kerb untouched" bits happened when Phil clipped a kerb corner with the minibus while being chased across London by Tony Firshman's Volvo (someone dropped off with Tony had left some luggage on the minibus and Tony kindly gave chase to recover it) See, just like the 'best' American films, even QL shows can end in car chases... ;-) >>At workshop after workshop he promised me he would see that Perfection had >>decimal tabs. It still hasn't. Quill had them from day one. >>If anyone knows where he is please let me know > >He .. he ... a case for Sherlock Holmes ? Or Geoff Wicks perhaps (see his email)...now there's a new nickname for him! I can just imagine Geoff in a Sherlock Holmes hat (forgot its name? Deerstalker?) smoking a long pipe.
