Some were, I think the zmht wasn't. Most of the spectrum emulators
came from Davide Santachiara's company Ergon Development in Italy.

Spectator was by Dr Carlo Delhez (he of QL Ungif and Zxtricator ZX81
emulator fame)

There is another Spectrum emulator by William James, don't remember
its name.

ZexCel from Ergon is freeware.

>2. Are the authors still involved in the QL scene.

In most cases, no. Dr Carlo Delhez has his own Zxtricator website and
may be contactable via that. Davide Santachiara is contactable (I
think he's still ont his list), but not very active at the moment,
while I don't know about William James

update

use

and 128 K)?

Darren Branagh has compiled a Spectrum CD recently and may be able to
add further information.
