Of course you are right, (you know me too well by now) simple menus aren't my style and I do create everything graphically except for the text (I am testing still of course who knows what the future holds) Now the 3D effect is rather easy to create using the BLOCK command (which works with absolute pixel coordinates not scaled). I tried with my basic routines for absolute coordinate lines (which make it A LOT easier to create) but they are extremely slow :-(. The icons will be of course sprites (which I do know how to make, but I'll be damned If I know how to use still :-) Still reading Turbo manuals on this ;-) so for the time being I am just drawing them pixel by pixel to see what happens. I did push button effects already (very easy to create) AND dynamic resize. I am still working on getting the mouse to double click ;-))))) (Old Mac User... I HATE the HIT and DO combination BTW;-). I also toyed around saving the underlying window in memory and restoring it but it takes too much time so I guess I'll have to use PEX :-) Now again the rule is to use as much than the OS can give me.....
IF ONLY SCALE worked... :-( Phoebus, I'll keep you posted P.S. QPC is still making graphical windows side by side with .... WindoZe :-)
