According to my 'Dictionary of World Mythology', in Greek mythology Hermes was the son of Zeus, and although a messenger of the gods he often led men astray. Later he came to be looked upon as the patron of good luck and fortune ... so your package may well turn up where it was supposed to :-) Yet, then again, he was also the patron of merchants and thieves :-( -- Malcolm Cadman
