Ok, after a FULL night of trials (and MANY, MANY errors) I found a way to
work around the problem.

Apparently Fontographer 4.1 encodes type 1 fonts taking in account the
Unicode character set. This is known to create problems in ATM (but not
Freetype) and it is corrected by adding information IN the glyph encodings
to compensate for that problem.

However, pfb2pff cannot deal with these fonts :-(.
I unearthed my (VERY old) 3.5 version of Fontographer, opened the file,
saved it again and TA-DA! it's working in ProWesS fine now :-)

I put the Euro Symbol in CHR$(127) (ie The Tilde)... If anyone has a better
place to put it I am open to suggestions. Additionally, If someone is kind
enough (Wolfgang?) I would like the accented characters position so I can
make a couple versions of the fonts to accomodate your needs with the
characters in the right positions (IIRC) I don't think that TRA can affect
ProWesS, therefore different versions of the fonts are required for
different "codepages" (I made one for Windows Greek and PC-737 Greek as
well... FINALLY I have Scalable Greek on SMSQ/E!)

Another tip I have for any of you users of ProWesS out there.... Is once
you get ANY "swiss" type font... USE THAT instead of the Utopia for System
font (Configurable through ProWesS configuration file)... The difference in
system response is IMMENSE due to the fact that the equations are far more
easier to rasterize at any resolution...
