I'd say your SGC is damaged. I had a Minerva once that did a similar thing
to this when plugged in. Are you sure you are making contact with all the
pins on the expansion slot when you plug it in?

Have a look into the slot with a flashlight with the card removed and see
if any pins are bent or broken.

White thick vertical lines.
Rainbow like horisontal lines between the white ones.
Black background.
