Oh and of course Peter is correct: I never did and never will tell anyone how to choose a QL system, or what to run their QL software on. All I did and I am guilty as charge was say that I don't believe that QPC is a QL system in its own right. I do respect democracy too much else my name would be Adolf Stalin Dokos :-)
I still believe that QPC would be better suited as a Development system for native hardware and I also believe in the convergence of all different trends and implementations to one single that would be to the best extent possible backwards compatible without overdoing it... Things like Mode 32 and Mode 33 should NOT exist, SSSS on Q40 and Not even beep (under Win2k) for the QPC should NOT EXIST either. As Macchiavelli said: Divide and Conquer.... and conquered we are I am sorry to say... An another thing... If in the QL world we can't trust people to express their opinions and being tolerant then maybe the QL scene doesn't have a right to exist at all. Characterization of people being stupid and belonging to clans do not belong in a group like ours. If anybody believes so... then I chose the wrong group to be a part of... I'm sorry. Phoebus
