This programs already exists !  It's called TGBack and is available from
the QDOS/SMS software repository ( http://smsq.free.fr/#DISK ).

Example of use for the particular purpose of Norman's needs:
EX TGBack_exe;"-from win1 -to win2 /m /s"

Note that TGBack may also run unattented, e.g. from a boot file or
in conjunction with "minicron" (MiniCron109.zip in the repository).
