Ian, MT_RJOB and MT_FRJOB return the error code (in D3.L) to any job which is waiting on the job being removed (or any of its children) to complete. The error code will be returned to S*Basic if it is waiting. I suspect the parent gets it as well though, but I've not seen it documented.

So, ErrorCode is returned to the parent job as the 'reason' for the death of the child I just RJOB'ed (I'm guessing). Why do jobs have both an ID and a Tag? (Probably an RTFM question but too impatient to wait until I get home! :) Ian. > -----Original Message----- > From: marcel > Sent: 28 January 2002 15:11 > To: ql-users > Cc: marcel > Subject: Re: [ql-users] A foible ... > > > [EMAIL PROTECTED] wrote: > > On the subject of removing jobs, from SBASIC the RJOB command seems > > only to accept the name of a job, not its number (which to me would > > seem more useful).
