I had this problem a while ago and realised that if you started a second copy and tried a listing it worked. It was a problem of some kind with a particular version and pipes - Thierry Godefroy did explain it to me but I forgot what the full explanation was. I upgraded my SMSQ/E and ACP at the same time and cannot remember which was causing the problem. The copy of ACP seemed to be in a loop, but you could CTRL C to BASIC or to another job, the computer wasn't crashed. Try starting a second copy of ACP before you remove the frozen copy, if the listing works in the secomnd copy it might well be the same problem. IIRC, you could also work around the problem by opening a channel to a pipe from BASIC and keeping that channel open while using ACP. But this was a while back and I really can't remember the details. -- Dilwyn Jones [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://www.soft.net.uk/dj/index.html
