Yes ... this development has the potential to 'save' the platform, and
even expand it a little.  Should be fun too :-)

One thing that is very important to build in is the input from the more
'ordinary user'.  At present the conversation has been with the people
who feel comfortable with 68K coding.

However, do not forget the 'users' have to take it up to make it viable.
