Since the KnightSafe compresses files anyway, try to format the disks from the PC as regular DOS ones and then use these. SMSQ will write them allthough extremely slowly but it's good enough if you can do your job.
Also I remember you stating something about 2700 and some odd sectors format. QPC formats at 2440 sectors... maybe you are using ED disks... or ED drives???? -- Phoebus R.
