For fun, ok. But not for anything else. Graphics operations must by
definition be enclosed by iow.xtop, you can't do this in basic.

I don't really understand your approach anyway. Whether you calculate
the offset within screen memory or within a table... where's the
difference? The maths is the same. The latter just has additional
overhead.

In SBasic everything is f...airly slow, so why not just use the method
that uses less memory?
