I've had problems with both - never understood QPTR at all, docs were cr4p to say the least. Still got it somewhere - unused and as far as I can see, unusable. Even some of the demos (sprite editor) just give a no-entry pointer and hang. Not very helpful.
As for DifficultPTR, well, Dilwyn knows the fun I had with that way back. When I eventually figured some of it out, I wrote it up in Quanta - and still use those notes today (!!!) when I try to do things. Then there was the C68 interface - again, too 'strange' for me to figure out. Maybe I'm too thik to be a programmer :o) Norman. ------------------------------------- Norman Dunbar Database/Unix administrator Lynx Financial Systems Ltd. mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Tel: 0113 289 6265 Fax: 0113 289 3146 URL: http://www.Lynx-FS.com ------------------------------------- -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]] Sent: Tuesday, April 09, 2002 10:17 AM To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: Re: [ql-users] EasyPtr >> It's just a question of what you're used to.
