Am I right to assume that the US QLs do not generate a "proper" (US spec that is) Composite video signal? I tried GND and where in the manual says PAL (which I assumed would be NTSC for the US but since I don't have a US manual I don't know!) but the only place I can get the QL to output composite video signal is on the Monochrome... Any Ideas?
Also my mdv1_ appears to be dead (Starts and stops but gives a "not found" when you try to do anything with it Finally the sH lite is IMPOSSIBLE to work with an unmodified US QL as when the case is closed the extra thick metal on the keyboard sits on the sH's board and shorts something (non destructible thank God!) So until I cut that piece out... it's a "see through" QL... Phoebus P.S. Anybody has spare Empty Care Rom cartridges (board and cover). (Tony?) I have accumulated A LOT of ROMS over the years and I would like instead of pulling off chips (with the great possibility of destroying them) to be able to use them :-)
