Yes, George Gwilt came up with TurboPTR as a way to get around this.
Of course, the REFERENCE directive gets around the problem in S*BASIC
proc/fns but not with machine code extensions like the QPTR toolkit
and so on.


However, for someone wishing to use Turbo to compile a pointer
program, TurboPTR is the best solution.
