Hi all.
Well, the Qeyboard has been moving on in fits and starts. I used my sample
with this US QL and decided to make some changes, so it's already had its
first entire redesign. :o)
The new, improved version is slightly thinner, and the thin board that
fits in the keyboard slots has a new design that makes it lower profile
and more sturdy. Finally, I added a locating hole for each switch to help
with alignment, because surface mounting the switches resulted in a 1 mm
variance in position, which gave some keys an inconsistent feel.
I have also modified the 2-layer sandwich to better support the bubble
mat. I now think the design is evolved enough to produce.
