Hi All,
Seems if serial connectivity is needed you are fairly limited these days - most stuff is USB or docking station now. Best to stick to something that is known to work - I use a Kodak DC200+ (same model as Simon Goodwin has) and use his custom written software with QDOS - works like a dream and uses Photon to view the images. Works on my Amiga 1200 under the QL emulator and on a Hermes QL though I haven't tried it on QPC yet, though I doubt there would be any problems. I can take pictures and control the camera directly from the QL - quite impressive. Simon have written a lengthy detailed review of this in the latest QL Today and also lists all the camera models his software will work with - take a look. The Kodak software have remained pretty constant over time, so there are a few current camera that will work (the DC200 range and even the DC215 with Zoom are no longer made now, though are readily available 2nd hand) Darren Branagh Director, Wicklow Web Centre Limited Computer Training, Web Design, Repairs sales & Upgrades.
