Tony,
Computing, and indeed the sciences in general, seems to attract very few women I'm afraid. I work in a pretty large softwra ehouse and about 95% of the development staff are male. My wife runs her own IT company - doing system testing for whoever needs it - and she hates IT, but likes the money so she can buy even more shoes (I call her Emelda from time to time). Most women I know just don't like the IT business. Shame really. Cheers, Norman. ------------------------------------- Norman Dunbar Database/Unix administrator Lynx Financial Systems Ltd. mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Tel: 0113 289 6265 Fax: 0113 289 3146 URL: http://www.Lynx-FS.com ------------------------------------- -----Original Message----- From: Tony Firshman [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]] Sent: Tuesday, June 11, 2002 1:15 AM To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: Re: [ql-users] FastFind >> BTW for people who have not met Per, he is not a woman (8-)# >> Why is it that the QL attracts a pretty 100% male following?
