Another information which would help can be found on top left
of the component side of the PCB (above the expansion-slot
and left of the ROM-port). On early issue 5 PCBs theres a
date in ink like 84xx. I have a D05-QL which has 8415 there
which means the board was produce in April 1984.


8418 - it is an issue 5, but seems later than yours!! Weird


A third (not really safe) method I use is to check every IC and
other components for production date like 84xx or 83xx. If
it holds a soldered component with date eg 8427 it was
produced or repaired after July 1984.


A lot of the ICs have between 8327 and 8345 on them.


All that can end in an endless story ;-)
