I've never used "slattach" myself so can't be much help, but I've just read in LINUX network administrator's guide (O'Reily) that you have to use "ifconfig" and "route" to configure the network interface. "slattach" just deals with switching the line discipline of a ttyS interface to SLIP. I use "dip -t" which allows you to set up the variables $remote and $local to ip addresses. Set soql to the same address as $remote. -- Jon.
