Did you see the item in the news today about the foaming town of Whitby in N.Yorkshire?Seems some organism which grows in the sea near there tends to froth up in this kind of weather, and a lot of it came onto land for some reason (probably the weather). A black and white picture of it looked not so much like snow, more as if firemen had sprayed the area with foam or somethng.
