Yes indeed.  White labels do have a shelf life.  They last longer in
sealed cellophane.  That is how laser labels arrive.
Pity they don't use the Able label glue - that seems to last for ever.

I have many preprinted labels, esp for Z88 cartridges, sealed on top
with letraset fixative (makes then very durable) which I really don't
want to throw away.

What I do is spray with 3M spray mount and handle with tweezers.
In this particular case much better than throwing them away!
