I'm sure that I've used two ZX microdrives connected to a QL without problems. However I seem to remember that a lot is dependant on the quality of the lead connecting the drives to the QL (and also it's length). I can't actually get to any of my black box QL's at the moment but as soon as I can I'll get one out and see what results I get. I think I should have enough connectors to connect 4 drives together. It might also be interesting to see what happens when you connect a lot of drives to a spectrum - I've only ever connected 2 to an interface one I think but I should be able to connect the same 4 drives to a spectrum and give you some results from that as well.
