The spell checker and auto corrector in a certain well known M$ WP actually includes the commonest typos for two fingered typists like myself (transposed letters etc). For example, it should be able to prevent me typing QL Toady by mistake (says he thinking of Norman's tadpoles email) if I define Today as the correction for Toady. A lot of the proof reading of QL Today involves correcting my mistypes and swapped letters when typing at speed (one hand faster than the other!)
