I suspect the Turbo problem is because you are using SMSQ-E, which did give problems with Turbo and some Turbo programs, although I had the impression that these were now fixed. I have compiled programs using Turbo on that QXL, but then using SMSQ (not SMSQ-E), which was on the two disks that came with the QXL card.
