Dear All, For those with short memories, QL 2000 was organised by Roy Brereton with financial backing from Quanta. A subgroup was never involved in the event purely because that event was the first of its kind and it  evolved very much on a 'business' approach as can be seen by the Quanta accounts for that period. The cost was in the region of �2,250.00 if I remember correctly. If another event was to be held in a similar fashion to Q 2000, then the potential financial outlay demands close consultation with the Quanta committee and planning should start now for an event in say, October/November 2004. The obvious venues at the moment would appear to be either The Horizon Centre in Portsmouth (which hosted QL 2000) or the Eindhoven venue, as both of these locations have ideal access, accommodation etc. At the very least, any interested parties should be contacting Quanta officers directly NOW. regards Roy Brereton
