Since it is more than a year away I have no idea about whether I could come to the show at this point but I think that Oct is a good time of the year for us here in the states to make such a trip. It would be great to attend or even read about a show where the traders made a profit. Since the location seems to be narrowed down to 2 places and the traders would likely go either place a survey should be done among QLers to see if one place could produce significantly more attendance than the other. The survey should ask for definite and possible attendance at each location. For me Germany is preferable also but I think if significantly more would attend a UK show then that is where it should be.
