Hey, I'm interested to have some details concerning Futurama, as I'd never seen That series in France.
Can you give me some details as Editor, Pubisher, Exactly Titles or website links please ? Thanks a million, Cheers, Jimmy. -----Message d'origine----- De : [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] De la part de [EMAIL PROTECTED] Envoy : jeudi 7 aot 2003 16:24 : [EMAIL PROTECTED] Objet : Re: [ql-users] Sinclair in Futurama I didn't know they cancelled Futurama - The Simpsons must be just too popular. I loved the Star Trek poarody they did where are the star trek cast where just heads in jars. Speaking of Sinclair on TV - I have an interview with Bill Gates, which was made for the now defunct dot tv (computer channel) that used to broadcast on Sky Digital. In it, he is interviewed by an english presenter, and The presenter makes reference to how the Americans led the computer revolution in the 80's. To which Bill replies " The British had some good computers too, the Sinclair ones for example - Pity they didn't run DOS though" Laugh? I nearly collapsed, I always thought that was one of the best bits about the Sinclair machines........... And one of those robots had "Sinclair 2k" written on its chest. :-) It's not the first insider joke that shows that the writers know about vintage computers. One time for example Bender, a robot that is one of the main characters, got an X-ray which prominently featured a 6502 processor in his head (main processor of e.g. the Commodore C64). Suffice to say I like the series. Pity it got canceled.
