Some time ago there were reports that Turbo v4.19 could not be used because it stopped with an overflow error. The reason was that all versions of Turbo up to 4.19 were unable to cope with more than 32 megabytes of ram.
The problem has now been sorted and a corrected version of Turbo (v4.20) should be on the SQLUG site in the middle of September 2003.
The reason for the delay is that various other changes were happening. These are now complete.
If anyone wants a corrected version before the definitive one appears on the SQLUG site they should apply to me privately and I'll arrange to send one to them.
Turbo TK Code
Marcel Kilgus has found a long standing error in ALLOCATION which appears so far to have had no ill effects. Nevertheless a new version of TK Code containing amenments to ALLOCATION and DEALLOCATION is also expected soon.
TurboPTR
I am making changes in TurboPTR and hope to do the same for CPTR which take into account the new version of WMAN currently in SMSQ/E v3.xx.
